Samhita Community Development Services (SCDS), founded in 2007, is a section-25 company specialising in microfinance and microenterprise financing. SCDS was founded in 2007 by Ms. Praseeda Kunam and engages in holistic intervention through health, legal rights and literacy programs for the community. The company is headquartered in Bhopal. 

Avanti Finance and Samhita together provided credit support to over 30,000 households amounting to INR 900 Million in some of the remotest areas of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Exclusive programs were also designed to provide credit facilities to Covid affected households in SCDSs network.

Lawrencedale Agro Processing India (LEAF) is one of India’s premier fresh produce supply chain companies. Through its value chain intervention, farmer members have access to better yields, crop advisory, storage and price realisation opportunities. LEAF operates with a network of five farmer service centers covering over 16,000 farmers across three states.

In association with Avanti Finance, LEAF has enabled input credit support for 1600 farmers thereby increasing their net income by over 50% due to timely credit and LEAFs intervention.

Action for Social Advancement (ASA), set up as a not for profit in 1996, is one of India’s field implementing organisations for promotion of farm based livelihoods. ASA has promoted over 50 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO) for small and marginal farmers in central India and specialises in the Organic Cotton and Seed value chain and has a network of 200,000 small and marginal farmers.

Avanti Finance through its association with ASA have disbursed credit facilities worth INR 400 Mn towards FPO working capital and 10,000+ households. Significant portion of these loans were disbursed to new to credit (NTC) and small and marginal farmers.

Vector Finance is an NBFC-MFI incorporated in 2018, operates in 6 states with a network of 130+ branches. The company has active partnerships with some of the leading SFBs and NBFCs in the country and has an AUM of INR 4000 Mn at end of FY 21-22.

Avanti Finance and Vector Finance have served more than 15,000 households by offering customised loan products across micro enterprises, agriculture and dairy.

Stellapps is a leading farm to consumer dairy digitization service provider, improving farm productivity, milk quality and bringing in supply chain traceability in the dairy value chain. It leverages advanced analytics and artificial intelligence through its full-stack IoT platform to enable dairy ecosystem partnerships (financial and insurance institutions, veterinary services etc.) to drive value for each stakeholder. Till now, it has deployed its solutions in more than 30,000 villages and has 2 Million registered dairy farmers on its platform.

Avanti Finance and Stellapps partnered to provide on-tap credit facilities to dairy farmers and milk societies to enhance production capacity and household income.

Agri Entrepreneur Growth Foundation (AEGF) is promoted by Syngenta Foundation India and Tata Trusts with an objective to create 100,000 Agri Entrepreneurs and provide better services to over 20 Million farmers. AEGF identifies and trains rural youth to bring in services around input, credit, crop advisory and market linkage for the associated farmers.

Avanti and AEGF collaborated to provide initial capital support to the Agri Entrepreneurs across 8 states.

Nightingale Finvest (NFPL) is an NBFC-MFI headquartered in Guwahati with operations in 5 north eastern states. Their target segment includes families below poverty line, unemployed youth and weavers. NFPL has its roots to a social organisation and engages in initiatives like health camps, cleanliness programmes, AIDS awareness and agriculture.

Avanti has collaborated with NFPL to improve accessibility of financial services in Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Nagaland. So far, we have reached 5,000 families and sanctioned credit facilities worth INR 45 Mn. Avanti’s paperless process coupled with NFPLs SOP have led to further optimisation of operational expenses for NFPL.

Velicham Finance, a NBFC based out of Tamil Nadu has its roots from Bharathi Women’s Development Center (BWDC), an NGO with 3+ decades of community vintage and associated with numerous social and development activities. The company focuses on lending to small and medium enterprises and operates across 11 branches in Tamilnadu.

Avanti Finance and Velicham have joined hands to offer credit services to promote women entrepreneurship, small business holders, artisans, traders and fishermen. So far, INR 300 million has been disbursed in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry for income generating activities.

The Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) is one of the pioneer development organisations in the country. It was co-founded by Ms. Ela Bhatt in 1972. SEWA focuses on making women self-reliant by creating employment opportunities, work security, income security, food security and social security.

Avanti and SEWA joined hands to provide credit facilities to households that were impacted due to Covid. As a part of this program, we have provided financial assistance to 1500 women entrepreneurs.

Dvara e-registry (DER) is a new age agtech, set up in 2019, with a mission to enhance credit supply to the farming communities in India. It has developed an inhouse FPO stack to monitor, underwrite individual farmers based on verifiable sources (remote sensing and AI). DER provides current and historical data about growth stage, health, yield and cultivation potential of landholding of farmers.

Avanti Finance and Dvara E Registry have joined hands to provide credit facilities to FPOs and their farmer members for agriculture and allied activities. The program is currently live in Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Odisha across 20+ FPOs and will deploy alternate data sets to underwrite farmer loans.
